What does cosmetic bonding involve?
Your cosmetic bonding appointment will take approximately an hour or two, depending on the extent of the work being done.We will apply a natural looking material (composite resin) onto the tooth to cover up small cracks or gaps. The material is then hardened, smoothed and polished.
Cosmetic bonding involves little or no use of drilling or anesthetic. Several teeth can even be bonded during a single visit. Dental bonding is one of the most inexpensive and convenient ways to achieve a great smile!
Bonding can correct a variety of dental problems: stubborn stains, gaps between the teeth, or chipped or uneven teeth can all be greatly improved with bonding.
Maintenance
For about a week or two, you will go through a period of adjustment as you get used to teeth that have been changed in size and shape. Dental bonds don't require any special care; simply brush and floss daily, as usual.
